NTPL 2025 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

 Teams Advancing to Playoffs:

• 3 TOP Teams from each division will advance to END OF SEASON division play offs with 8 or more teams.
• 2 TOP Teams from each division will advance to END OF SEASON division play offs with 7 or less teams.
• Determination of Winners:
  • 1.) Total Team Match Points
  • 2.) Total Team Match Wins (if tied)
  • 3.) Head-to-Head Results (for two-way ties; for three-way ties, proceed to total team points)
  • 4.) Total Team Game Points
  • 5.) Overall Games Won Percentage

• Winners Progression:
  • Winners of Division Playoffs advance to Cities.
  • Winners of Cities advance to Sectionals (as needed).
    • If 1st place team declines, offer is given wild card. 
    • Wild Card Team is the team with the highest number of match wins earns the wild card.
  • Winners of Sectionals are awarded the opportunity to advance to Nationals.
    • If 1st place team declines, offer is given wild card. 
    • Wild Card Team is the team with the highest number of match wins earns the wild card.

• NOVEMBER 2ND OR NOVEMBER 9TH
• Play offs are done by division.  (3.5-3.99, 4.0-4.49, and 4.5-4.99) 
• The top two teams in each division (the team w /the most match points) will compete in division play offs on 11/2, 11/9, or 12/7 based on DUPR flight.
  • Team #1 will have home court advantage. 
  • Fall Playoffs are on your schedules in www.mypbgames.com.  
• This division winners will advance to Dallas cities in July - 7/12.

• APRIL 5TH
• Play offs are done by division.  (3.5-3.99, 4.0-4.49, and 4.5-4.99) 
• The top two teams in each division (the team w /the most match points) will compete in division play offs 4/5.
  • Team #1 will have home court advantage. 
  • Fall Playoffs are on your schedules in www.mypbgames.com.  
• This division winners will advance to Dallas cities in July - 7/12.

• JUNE 28TH
• Play offs are done by division.  (3.5-3.99, 4.0-4.49, and 4.5-4.99) 
• The top two teams in each division (the team w /the most match points) will compete in division play offs 6/28.
  • Team #1 will have home court advantage. 
  • Fall Playoffs are on your schedules in www.mypbgames.com.  
• This division winners will advance to Dallas cities in July - 7/12.

• JULY 12TH
• The Division Play Off Winners from all 3 sessions, Fall I, Spring I, and Spring II will compete in cities.
• If 1st place team declines, offer is given wild card. 
• Wild Card Team is the team with the highest match wins earns the wild card.
• If Tie, will defer to head-to-head.
• If head-to-head is tie, will defer to highest percentage of game points won in head-to-head.
• If City play off winners are tied, head-to-head results will be utilized to break tie, if that match was a tie, the %games won will be the tie break factor, next tie break factor is total games won.
• 7/12 cities determine Dallas city winner to advance to sectionals vs. other cities in Texas on 7/19 or 7/26 based on DUPR division.
• League will offer wild cards w/ the highest percentage of wins to round out division if needed. 
• The city play off winners will advance to Texas sections on July 19th or July 26th based on DUPR division.

• JULY 19TH OR JULY 26TH BASED ON DUPR DIVISION.
• The winning team for each city / division will compete against each other in Texas sectionals to determine team to attend Nationals. 
• If 1st place city team declines, offer is given wild card. 
• Wild Card Team is the team with the highest percentage of wins earns the wild card.
• League will offer wild cards w/ the highest percentage of wins as needed to round out division if needed. 
• Sectionals will determine which team will represent Texas at Nationals—the team with the most match points. 
• If sectional winners are tied, head-to-head results will be utilized to break tie, if that match was a tie, the % games won will be the tie break factor, followed by the total games won.
