PICKLEBALL TEAM LEAGUES - TRIPLE TEAM NATIONALS
The team leagues model feature men's, women's, and mixed combo teams for players aged 18+ and 50+.
Texas Team, Pickleball League winners earn the opportunity to represent Texas at the Triple Team Annual National Championships.

Team leagues are managed by team captains.

**Nationals does not yet offer these flights yet; players will play for Cotu Win.
Team Roster
- Captain Responsibilities: The captain manages player invites to the team, weekly lineups, and is responsible for all facility fees, courts, and pickleballs, which will be divided among players.
- Joining a Team: To join a team, either find a captain, become a captain yourself, or reach out to SCP for assistance in connecting with a team.
- DUPR Minimums: There is no MINIMUM rating a player must have to roster, it is highly recommended that players be no more than 0.5 lower than the listed rating for that division of play.
- DUPR Maximums: Players competing in each division must have a MAXIMUM rating of the following:
- 3.0 Division → 3.49
- 3.5 Division → 3.99
- 4.0 Division → 4.49
- 4.5 Division → 4.99
Match Format
- Three Rounds: Each team will compete in three rounds.
- Three Lines: Gender Doubles: Each team has 3 lines, and each line will face off against every other line.
- Two Lines: Mixed Combo: Each team has 2 lines, and each line will miXit up with gender doubles and mixed doubles.
- Game: Each line will play two games in each round played to 11 by 2.
- Rotation: All Visting team lines rotate counterclockwise after 2 games.
Scoring:
- Win by 2, no rally scoring
- Win: +2 match points per game won
- Lose w/ 6+ points in game score: +1 match point
- Bye in each round if opponent defaults
- Line default = opponent gets all match points for the games defaulted line
- Team with higher total of match points wins.
- Tie Gender Doubles is possible.
- Tie in Mixed combo is decided by 4th round Supreme Tie Breaker = +1 match point for the win
- Bye in each round if opponent defaults
- Line default = opponent gets all points for the games defaulted line
- If a team plays an ineligible player (player not on the roster, outside DUPR maximum, or unregistered sub) those lines are forfeited.
Determination of Winners:
- Total Team Match Points
- Total Team Match Wins (if tied)
- Head-to-Head Results (for two-way ties; for three-way ties, proceed to total team points
- Total Team Game Points
- Overall Games Won Percentage
Substitution Policy
- Eligibility
- Substitutes must have a verifiable DUPR rating within the division's range
- Players with "NR" (Not Rated) DUPR scores are ineligible as substitutes
- Subs MUST join TTPL DUPR Club to be eligible to play.
- Unlimited substitutes may be added with a $15.00 league fee per player per match.
- Each unique sub may sub only one time per team roster per season.
- If the same sub is required to play a 2nd time on the same team roster, the $15.00 league fee is due, and the player will be elevated to full time.
- Active players on other rosters can play for other teams with the sub fee payable before playing.
- Limitations
- Maximum of one game allowed per player, per roster, per season. The same sub may play on multiple teams.
- Substitutes are not eligible to play in any play offs or to play at Nationals.
- If a team plays an ineligible player (sub or DUPR), the entire match is forfeited.
Match Reporting
- Matches with substitutes are reported to the DUPR account of all players.
- Mixed Combo tie breaks are not reported to DUPR
- Default and Retire are not report to DUPR
Session Division Playoffs:
- Four teams advance to division playoff in a flight of 8 or more teams.
- Two teams advance to division play off in a flight of 7 teams or less.
Advancement Opportunities:
- Cities: League division winners advance to compete at the city level.
- NO Sectionals or State Championships in 2025.
- All Division City Winners will advance to National Championships.
- Nationals: Top teams will earn the chance to represent Texas at the Triple Team Pickleball League National Championships!
