• If a team plays an ineligible player (player not on the roster, outside DUPR maximum, or unregistered sub) the entire match is forfeited.
DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) will be used exclusively for participation in all club programming.
• DUPR account is needed for eligibility.
• A NR rating in DUPR will default to self-rating.
• Mandatory membership in SCP DUPR virtual club to be eligible to play. Join DUPR Club
• League will verify SCPR DUPR rating automatically via DUPR club.
• Players are encouraged to play in the division that matches their skill level (honor code) at time of registration.
• DUPR Minimums: There is no MINIMUM rating a player must have to roster, it is highly recommended that players be no more than 0.5 lower than the listed rating for that division of play.
• DUPR Maximums: Players competing in each division must have a MAXIMUM rating of the following:
• Captains may request higher division up until new team requests closes.
• DUPRs are dynamic. Your DUPR will "lock" in when you register to determine division eligibility for the full season and through play off advancement.
•If an athlete’s rating is above the division cap contact the league administrator.
Texas Team Pickleball League offers Five (5) DUPR divisions.
• Caps signify the highest rating a player may have to participate on the team.
• Five team minimum to field division or divisions can be combined. (teams could be moved up)
•Player may play up at their division level or at a higher skill level or DUPR rating, meaning DUPR is lower than the cap

SCORING:
The winner of the match is determined by the most match points earned.
• +Two (2) points will be scored for each game won.
• +One (1) point is awarded for lost matches if the team successfully scored six or more points in a single game.
• The winning team in each round will score the most points.
• Tied matches are possible in gender teams.
• A Supreme Tie Breaker will be played in Mixed Combo Doubles only.
• Points for a line default will be awarded to the opposing team.
• A default from the opposing team, results in your players having a bye that round. All of your lines will be still playing their rounds each with one bye.
ELIGIBILITY:
Captains are responsible to ensure all players in the lineup are eligible. An ineligible player is defined as a player that is:
Outcome: If an ineligible player competes, the affected line is defaulted for the entire match, with all points awarded to the opposing team.
SERVING:
• No coin toss or racquet spin is used to determine serve or side.
• First Game: Visiting team chooses to serve, receive, pick a side, or defer.
