Supreme Court Pickleball, operating as the Texas Team Pickleball League, is a DUPR-partnered league fostering competitive play and community engagement across the Dallas metroplex. As the official Texas affiliate of the National Team Pickleball League, we represent Texas in national championships, promoting pickleball growth through teamwork and sportsmanship. Our league is powered by dedicated captains, facility directors, players, and volunteers, all committed to advancing the sport of pickleball in Texas. We currently operate leagues in the Dallas region and are actively expanding to Foth Worth, Denton, Tyler, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Beaumont, Lubbock, and Waco. TTPL is planning to register as a nonprofit corporation. We are led by a group of volunteers with years of experience in team-based league pickleball and the league commissioner.
The National Team Pickleball League (NTPL) is an organization that aims to expand the team-based league pickleball format across the United States. It unites pickleball teams from coast to coast to compete for the title of National Champions. The NTPL offers twenty-two divisions of play with men's, women's, and co-ed teams competing throughout the year. Nationals will be hosted in the fall of 2025.
Texas Team Pickleball League was formed to develop competitive, team-based league pickleball in Texas with post season play offs and a path to National Championships. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, there's a place for you here. Compete locally and aim for national championships as we celebrate our shared love for pickleball—one rally at a time!
Texas Team Pickleball League's objective is to bring a standardized team-based league format to Texas and eventually nationwide, offering an alternative to the existing singles and doubles tournament infrastructure. We aim to provide a low-cost, organized, and locally convenient competitive pickleball experience for all adults aged eighteen and above.
Team-based league pickleball is a structured competition where teams of six or more players compete against each other over several months. Each team plays matches within the same skill level, aiming for a championship. This format promotes camaraderie and teamwork while providing a competitive environment, making it an engaging alternative to traditional singles or doubles tournaments.
Imagine your facility transforming into a dynamic hub where teams from various locations compete weekly. This league is about more than just playing; it’s about building community, enhancing social interaction, and forging lasting connections among players.
The National Team Pickleball League (NTPL) combines competitive spirit and teamwork on the courts, featuring men's, women's, and mixed MLP format doubles. As the official Texas affiliate of the NTPL, the Texas Team Pickleball League, operated by Supreme Court Pickleball, offers a unique pathway to camaraderie, passion, and victory on your journey to Nationals. With two national championships already achieved, we are committed to expanding our vibrant pickleball community.
A typical team roster consists of 10-12 players for gender doubles teams. This ensures that you can confidently field six players for each match. On match day, the captain will select six players for gender teams and four players for Mixed combo teams, from the roster to compete against the opposing team’s six players, fostering teamwork and strategy in every match.
Mixed Combo: 6-8 players on roster. 4 players play weekly.
Where do we play? TTPL utilizes a Bring Your Own Court (BYOC) format, allowing team captains to choose a home court within their county or city. Captains coordinate directly with facility directors for court reservations.
Bring Your Own Court. Play at the home facility of your choice or where your captain decides.
Captains are responsible for securing a "home court" with the facility of their choice within the approved radius of their city.
· A hard-court surface is mandatory - no hardwood floors.
· Indoor or Outdoor courts are acceptable, with hard courts only.
· Temporary nets and "official" taped lines are acceptable if approved by the facility director.
· Booking Times:
· One new outdoor pickleball per court is required to be provided by the home team for doubles matches with an extra on hand.
· The home facility team covers all facility court, visitor, and pickleball costs. (For play offs, participating teams split.) These costs are not covered by the league.

Membership is free and includes access to league news, updates, and member benefits! To play in a league the TTPL player fee covers one full regular session and is designed to be affordable, remaining less than the cost of a single sanctioned tournament.
Current League fee is $35.00 per player and roster for Team Leagues.
Current Flex League fee is $50.00 per player.
Teams advancing to post season play and all play offs incur additional entry fees to cover play off cost and operational expenses.
